Walter Payton Tribute

Walter Payton one of the most renounced celebrities of sports, who died a decade ago, received tribute by Chicago Bears on Sunday.

Life never stops even for those who become its pride. A decade ago he was there, to show great performances, to make the victories, to captures the hearts and now after decade family and fans are there in his remembrance, to pay him tribute. Yes he is Walter Payton; an outstanding professional athlete. He passed away, 10 years ago today and now he was being privileged and honored by the Chicago Bears in a ceremony at halftime during Sunday’s game. He died on 1st November 1999.

A tribute was paid to Walter Payton at his 10th death anniversary. During the video tribute of Walter Payton audience roared, while video showed the highlights of his enormous and amazing career and integrated admiration from Mike Ditka and owner Virginia McCaskey, along with previous team members such as Richard Dent and Otis Wilson. Besides dodging and jumping over protectors, Payton was also famous for his work ethic and his inclination to face troubles and difficulties.

This halftime video tribute was very stimulating and inspiring. In the tribute video, Walter Payton was shown running up a hill in uptown Barrington and blowing up an explosive at training site, as he was so courageous and spirited. At the end of the tribute, his wife Connie addressed the audience, and said that he is still alive in the minds and hearts of family and fans.

Walter Payton was first diagnosed with an uncommon liver syndrome and afterward a severe stage of cancer. This disease is known as primary sclerosing cholangitis.
