Walmart Clown Commercial
The Walmart Clown Commercial starts with a father dressing up as a clown with complete make-up. He can be heard saying “It’s time for daddy to make some funny”.
In the next shot, father could be seen sneaking into the room, where children are sitting on the floor playing with birthday gifts. Mom and her friend are talking about how much money she has saved at Walmart on supplies, while children are laughing while opening the gifts.
Mother could be seen saying, “We got all of this from Walmart, the decorations, the table cloth, all of the food”….father signals the MOM and her friend to be silent and then suddenly jumps into the room where children MOM and her friend are sitting, but unfortunate for him he jumps straight onto a toy UNICORN.
It is time to scream, but not to scare the children but due to pain. What began as a moment of happiness and excitement finishes in a flash of pain and terror.
Children hearing the scream by the father runs everywhere in and out of the room and father could be seen reaching for his foot in absolute pain.
But the funnies part of the commercial for me was when all the children run within and out of the room one little girl, who does not react at all, to the screaming clown that clinches it.
