Vizio, Americas leading LCD HDTV company has reached an agreement with Blockbuster’s video streaming service for its new range of HDTV’s enabled with internet applications. According to an article published in the Home Media Magazine Mr. Dave Habiger, the chief executive officer of Sonic Solutions and CinemaNow powers Blockbusters streaming services, announced to his investors that Vizio would be bringing out Blockbuster-enabled TVs from as early as this spring.

Jim Noyd, the spokesman of the California-based HDTV company, has also confirmed the settlement of an agreement between the HDTV company and Blockbuster but also added that the launch date of the Blockbuster enabled HDTV‘s is yet to be determined.

And guess what Beyonce Knowles is up to after the Grammy’s. Well the sensational singer features in a 60-sec clip promoting Vizio’s internet applications technology which was aired during

this Sunday’s Super Bowl. The ad itself is quite self explanatory in describing what should the consumers expect from the new range of Vizio HDTV’s. Its got the TV, internet, facebook, flicker, twitter all accessible from your HDTV giving its viewers a new wholesome experience.

Blockbuster streams would most likely be integrated with the branded applications of Vizio which would distinctly air different channel streams of different service providers such as CNBC, CBS and The Weather Channel. Blockbuster already has deals with Samsung, TiVo and Motorola which in turn have manufactured widgets and devices that ease the ability to view the movies electronically.

With the integration of new VIA technology to its HDTV’s, Vizio is eyeing better viewer experience and and efficient access to internet to its audience at the same time. Only time will tell how the consumers respond to this promise of an out of the box vision of Vizio and its partners.
