Tibetan Mastiff
Prosperous and well-off Chinese are almost passionate and crazy about a dog breed, unlike status-conscious westerners and their puppies. Wealthy Chinese are spending a heavy amount on the Tibetan Mastiff, a large dog with a royal look that was initially bred by the migrants of Central Asia.
According to reports, a woman in Xi’an, China spent some $600,000 on just a 16-month-old Tibetan Mastiff. When the dog arrived at airport, it was welcomed by a 30-car group from the airport with his owner.
China’s mastiff craze and demand is a fact that came to our knowledge with the name and introduction of a Chinese dog breeder Zhao Yanjun, who makes around $400,000 annually breeding dogs and gives them the name of world leaders.
