What a shame! Tammy Clinton, a 39-year-old female teacher, has been arrested for child sexual abuse.
According to the details, Tammy Clinton is a 6th grade teacher at Farnell Middle School and a resident of Tampa, Florida. Reportedly, Tammy Clinton forced a 14-year-old student to touch her inappropriately. Tammy Clinton forced the minor to touch her on at least three different occasions and one of them was as recent as Thursday, according to Hillsborough Sheriff.
The Sheriff’ office has also revealed that on one occasion Tammy Clinton asked the student forcibly to touch her breasts while she fondly pressed his buttocks. The incidents happened when the two were at school’s ground. The investigators reported that Tammy Clinton started this relationship with the student at least a month ago. On Wednesday, she allegedly lured the 14-year-old student to accompany her outside the school so that she could carry out sexual acts on the boy.
The malicious activities of Tammy Clinton were brought to light by a fellow teacher when the student told everything to her. Law enforcement agencies Tammy Clinton arrested Tammy Clinton from the school property. The arrest was made on Thursday.
Tammy Clinton was charged with two counts of felony child molestation and two counts of lewd conduct. She was released from the jail a day after her arrest on $30,000 bond.
Hillsborough County School District released a comment about the incident. The spokesperson of the school district, Steve Heggarty, called the incident ‘disappointing’ and ‘a shame’. He further commented that most of our teachers have been doing a great work but such incident gives other teachers a ‘black eye’.
