For millions of our countrymen, Super Bowl is the perfect time to enjoy some yummy snacks and dips without being worried about the increasing waistline – at least this is what Google Hot Trends are showing!

Super Bowl Appetizers is one keyword which is topping the trends list on almost every search engine today. And do I need to confess that I did the same too. In my desperation to find the perfect appetizers to entertain the Super Bowl party at my home I searched tens of websites today including Food Network and several other gourmet food recipes websites. I know pizzas and cheese dips with finger foods are one of the many popular appetizers but surprisingly, I’ve been seeing people looking for desserts too.

Food Network has their very own Super Bowl Food Menu which includes appetizers like hot chicken wings and French onion dips. Television channels also understand our love for the food and how can they miss to provide the perfect appetizers recipes for America’s biggest sports Entertainment, Super Bowl. CBS is featuring a special food segment in its Super Bowl pre-game show in which Guy Fieri of the Food Network will make perfect tailgate food for the Super Bowl game.

More interestingly, a warning message has been issued by U.S. Department of Agriculture for the Super Bowl fans who are preparing for appetizer parties someone else’s home. USDA asks the hosts of Super Bowl parties to prepare the food in a hygienic way and be extra careful about foodborne illnesses.
