Space Needle Fireworks 2010

Fireworks has become a tradition for New Year’s celebrations, especially when fireworks illuminate the space needle at Seattle Center, to welcome the New Year, it becomes too dreamy and romantic at mid night to enchant and amuse its spectators worldwide.

The fireworks show for the year 2010 was created by Pyro Spectaculars, a famous fireworks company. This was marvelous and breathtaking, more amazed and more dazzle than ever, with an awe-inspiring, glamorous effects that depicts space Needle’s fascination from central part to its rooftop tower.

According to a rough estimate, approximately 400,000 people watched this fireworks show with the splendor and charm of Space Needle from different locations and almost 20,000 spectators were there around the building. This was the largest display of this fabulous firework on the West Coast that was aired live on the KING-TV.

Deborah Daoust, The Director of Communications at Seattle Center said the building and surrounded area got so overcrowded even jam-packed that there was no place even to stand. Most of the audience came so early around at 9 p.m to watch the show and to welcome New Year in with heavy flash of lighting. People also enjoyed the rock dance party at Seattle Center.

New Year is celebrated all over the world with different styles but dance parties and firework are common to all celebrations though this Space Needle firework is stupendous and outstanding in its appearance. The Seattle Center Monorails active service was available for passengers until 1 a.m.
