Sarolea Motorcycles

Sarolea Motorcycles were History Channel’s Pawn Star recently, the 1942 Sarolea motorcycle was there to be sold as according to the records there had been left only 5 such Sarolea motorcycles in the United States. Pawn Stars’ Corey bought this rare motorcycle for $ 4500, although it was not in working condition. The motorcycle was further gone for $ 7000 in an auction. So old is really gold (I hope every young man will agree with this statement)

First motorbike producers from Belgiam produced Sarolea motorcycles. Joseph Sarolea established the Belgian factory for weapons in 1850. The factory was established in Liege for arms but its started producing bikes in 1892. When Joseph Sarolea died in 1894, his sons managed the company and in 1929, the factory was able to produce seventy-five Sarolea motorcycle units per day including every part. The early motocycles were sold to Britain under Kelly brand and company was able to sell motorcycle engines to a host of countries.

In the following decade Sarolea Motorcycles were made lighter weight and with a 147cc engine design to meet the economic decline in the decade.

The History Channel has given us opportunity to have a look at the antique beauty and 21st episode of season 2, there was featured a Civil War sword and 1800s printing press.

Having a look at Sarolea Motorcycles will prove to you that motorcycles were not considered an ordinary traveling mode as it is considered now a days. The Sarolea motorcycles were heavy but they were durable for there was a little plastic used in their manufacturing.

To make it work some one should ask Democrats, as they might be able to run this around a century old bike as they are running their government that still is not seemed working enough to cover some distance on economic recession.
