Ralph and Karen Guastaferro
Ralph and Karen Guastaferro who swapped the ABC reality show, “Wife Swap”, are facing the felony charges and both have pled guilty to felony. The New York couple (Ralph and Karen Guastaferro) who once shocked the audience with their showy life style is having big financial problems and even is unable to pay their counsel.
Ralph and Karen Guastaferro appeared in a federal court this time but the stage was different and so was the time for the couple. You might remember the show in which Karen Guastaferro exchanged herself to live in Indiana in the house of a religious couple. Angie Boss, wife in the family did the vise-versa. She stayed in Guastaferros’ house in Amherst.
Ralph pled guilty before the court for money laundering in a scam involving Canadian Telemarketing Company during 2004 to 2006. The amount is said to be $1.2 million. Her wife pled guilty that she did not report wages to IRS regarding their business in Clarence, New York. She admitted that she did not pay tax amounting over $ 56000.
Both are expecting a jail time but of different duration. If convicted; Ralph will face a federal prison from 46 to 57 months whereas her wife Karen would face from 10 to 16 months.
The couple who once presented their daughter Chevrolet while she was not able to drive it are today in a situation that it is hard for them to pay to their lawyers.
Ralph and Karen Guastaferro should learnt up to now that nature has its own designs, and one could be drawn to rags in a period of less than a year.
