Phil Harris Died
Phil Harris suffered a stroke on 30 January and from that time his sons Jake and Josh Harris had been up dating the legend’s fans about his condition and they have announced that their beloved father is no more with them.
The grieved sons have written their mind paying a tribute to their father by declaring him a fighter for life who continued his fight for life till his last moments. They have further added that he was the man for them and for his crew who never backed down and we all will remember that strength. Both Jake and Josh have thanked their well-wishers for their thoughts and prayers.
Captain Phil Harris, who was based out of Seattle, suffered the heavy stroke during a crab offload. He was found unconscious in a stateroom and then was lifted by air for a 12 hours duration surgery in Anchorage. He was put under a medically induced coma and last week there were signs of improvement in his condition and he was able to squeeze hands and grumping in his own style to doctors and nurses for not to screw the things.

Phil Harris had been a fisher for more than three decades and he was also co-owner of Cornelia Marie to which he captained for almost two decades. His sons worked with him as deck hands and Josh was remained on the ship when his father suffered the stroke to look after the work in progress after his father.
