Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka

Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka’s story when read gives the feeling as if someone is reading a novel. The Ontario couple’s true story comprises so much criminal drama that it becomes unbelievable for the reader to take it as a true story.

In 1990, Paul and Karla became fiancés. Paul was an ideal dream-boy with a lot of money, attraction and professional career of an accountant. But the quality of Paul which made Karla obsessed of him was that he was so wild in the bed that she never wanted to loose him in her life. She went on compromising on his demands. She was not a virgin when they met and this issue was exploited by Paul and he threatened to leave her if she does not “compensate” him for this very deformity of her.

He asked her help in raping her virgin sister, Tammy as compensation. She agreed to Paul’s logic and they intoxicated Tammy with an animal sedative. He arranged a camcorder to cover the luscious moments. When Paul took the “position” to rape her, Tammy choked and turned faint. She had died. They portrayed it as “natural death” and called the ambulance after hiding their all doubtful things. The police took it as an accident.

But Paul’s lust did not seem to subside. He again compelled Karla to compensate him. Karla trapped a young girl Jane Doe and he raped her with the help of another sedative. Then he killed Leslie Mahaffy after raping her. He was arrested and sentenced to maximum punishment ( in Canada) of life imprisonment.
