Nyc Restaurant Week
NYC & Company, the marketing, tourism, and partnership organization of New York City, is here with the NYC Restaurant Week 2010. The NYC Restaurant Week 2010 will be featuring more than 260 participating restaurants, which will make the 2010 Restaurant Week the largest event since it first started in 1992.
The two-week event will start on January 25 and will run until February 7, 2010. This year, the restaurant week will feature several new entries as well as many popular old ones. Plus, there will be an NYC Restaurant Week truck. In addition to these new features, the main sponsors of the event, American Express and Jet Blue, will also offer special benefits to their customers during the 2010 NYC Restaurant Week. Foodies will also be able to enjoy sweepstakes from Coca-Cola and JetBlue.
The 19th annual NYC Restaurant Week will feature many new entries including Todd English’s Olives New York, The Libertine, SD26 Restaurant & Wine Bar, Ze CafĂ©, The Breslin Bar & Dining Room. Several old participants are also returning in the 2010 Restaurant Week including the very popular The Sea Grill, City Hall Restaurant, db Bistro Moderne, Tribeca Grill, and Delmonico’s Steakhouse.
The NYC Restaurant Week truck, the brand new addition to the event, will cater to foodies in high-traffic areas of Manhattan between 11 am and 2 pm during the event. Food lovers will be able to get themselves treated with gourmet soups offered by the participating restaurants. The NYC & Company’s website will feature the prices and the truck’s whereabouts regularly during the Restaurant Week.
The 2010 NYC Restaurant Week will also offer an exclusive sweepstake by Coca-Cola in which the winners will be given free tickets for two for a concert at Madison Square Garden. Several other prizes will also be featured. Similarly, JetBlue consumers could enter to win a weekend in NYC which will enable the winner to get airfare for two, double-night stay in luxurious hotel, and fine dining at one of NYC’s top dining establishments.
