According to reports Mina Brees who is the mother of Drew Brees “New Orleans Saints Quarterback” killed herself after a drug over doze. Mina Brees was an attorney from Austin, Texas who died of a drug over doze on August 7. She was 60 years old at the time of her death.

Brenda Bock, Grand County coroner declare that her death was the result of a prescription drug overdose; at the time of death she was in Granby near Rocky Mountain National Park, staying at the home of a close friend.

According to the reports of The Austin American, the Texas attorney general’s authority subpoenaed her business records just 3 days before her death.

At the time of her death her relations with her son Drew Brees were strained at times and the quarterback forbid her to use his photograph in commercials and television advertisement for a Texas appeals court seat.
