Mexican Made Easy
Mexican Made Easy debuted on January 23rd, 2010 and within a week the program has become one of the most popular cooking shows on Food Network, and most interestingly, some of the show’s recipes have been so frequently searched on the internet that they have been listed on the Google Trends multiple times. So, what is so special about Mexican Made Easy?
Mexican Made Easy is being hosted by Chef Marcela Valladolid, and needless to say, she is the woman behind the show’s success and increasing popularity. She believes that mostly people don’t really understand or know much about Mexican food and think that tacos and burritos are the only things in the Mexican food. Marcela says that with her cooking show ‘Mexican Made Easy’ she would tell the American public that the Mexican cuisine have far much more than just nachos and burritos.
Mexican Made Easy has hit the air waves at a time when Mexican food is already becoming popular among the U.S. foodies, and Marcela hopes she would teach the public of northern America how to cook Mexican food in an easy way.
Marcela, who is in her early 30s, has already so much in her resume. She has served as an editor for Bon Appétit magazine and is currently the face of Knorr, Lipton, and Helmans in the Hispanic market of United States. Marcela also owns a catering company in her hometown, Tijuana.
In Mexican Made Easy, Marcela makes the recipes which are featured in her cook book. In the first week of Mexican Made Easy, Marcela made Mexican brunch recipes, and her coffee recipe ‘Café Mexico’ is still listed in the most popular recipes of Food Network.
Mexican Made Easy is a promising cooking show which will give us some very yummy Mexican recipes. It is already added in my ‘to-watch & to-follow’ list of TV shows.
