Meredith Baxter finally makes her seven-year secret public. Talking on the Today show, Meredith revealed that she has been in a relationship with women and that she is a lesbian. Her interview was quite interesting as she talked quite openly about her feelings and her relationships with men and women.

The 62-year-old actress told in her interview that it’s been only seven years when she first discovered her love for women. ‘It was a later-in-life recognition,’ she admits.

Meredith Baxter revealed her love for women after The National Enquirer’s November issue reported that she has been seen travelling on a cruise along with ‘female friend’ which was sponsored by a lesbian travelling company. After the news published, Meredith wanted to tell about her lesbian relationship. So she took the courage and revealed it all in NBC’s The Today’s Show.

Meredith Baxter told in her interview with the Today’s Shows that she has been in relationship with Los Angeles based building contractor Nancy Locke for last four years. She admitted that it’s because of her love for women that she faced problems in all three marriages with men.

Meredith told that she met with people who always used to blame those men whom she married but she told that she now realizes that the problem was with herself not with those men who came in her life. She told that her relationship with Nancy is going perfectly well and that she has received immense support from her family and children.
