The most awaited concert of the music legend Lady Gaga, planned on January 14, at Purdue University was cancelled by organizers for the sudden illness of the main performer Lady Gaga. This announcement was made by Todd Wetze, the Convocations director for Purdue University. The excitement of an unexpectedly big crowed turned into one of the prevailing disappointments last night just before the opening of sold out show.

The highly anticipated show has been rescheduled for Jan. 26 at the same time at Elliott Hall of Music. In this rescheduled concert, Jason DeRulo will open the show and Semi Precious Weapons and Lady Gaga will follow them according to plan.

Tickets sold for this 14 January show will not be refund but these tickets will be valid for the newly scheduled show on January 26. Todd Wetzel announced that anyone from ticket holders who will be

unable to attend the postponed show will be offered a refund.

The unexpected announcement of Lady Gaga sudden illness made the crowd fidgety and a rumor about the death of the leading performer was circulating. But Alicia Black, the tour manager of the singer confirmed that she is working well; when Black was asked about the cancellation of the show, the call connection was strangely lost.

The excitement of a big crowed at Elliott Hall of Music in West Lafayette was split to frustration and disappointment however fans of Lady Gaga was concerned about her illness and were willing to attend the show on January 26 to see their favorite singer on the stage.
