Knoxville Nationals 2009

Knoxville, Lowa—Donny Schats has won Knoxville Nationals 2009 race for the third time consecutively, proving himself to be the only best on the track, as many as 20,000 fans were present to cheer Donny Schats and to see 49th Super Clean Knoxville National Championship 2009, the delayed race started on Saturday night, but due to heavy raining and bad weather A-main and B-main races were scheduled for Sunday night.

The abovementioned races are believed to be held on Sunday night, if the ill weather didn’t show up again to disturb the races, the odd weather with heavy rains thought fade away soon but came back with more force, completely disappointing the audience, who are present at the tracks to witness the huge event. Rain forced the sprint car racing’s Super Bowl to reschedule at least 2 races for Sunday night.

But if I just talk about A-main which i believe was the race of the day in which Donny Schats once again proved himself; he passed Joey Saldana for lead on 35th lap and after that he was uncatchable, many have tried but in vain, this win gave him $150,000 as prize money, but something much more important, which is respect on the track and off the track.
