Kim Guadagno
We congratulate Kim Guadagno to be the first ever Lady Governors-Elect for Virginia and New Jersey.
Kim Guadagno is a Republican and was born in Waterloo, Iowa in 1959, she completed her law degree in 1983 from American University’s Washington College of Law. She decided to reside in New Jersey back in 1991 and married Michael Guadagn in the same year.
On the other hand we would like to congratulate Chris Christie to be elected as the 55th New Jersey Governor yesterday; he is a republican as well as a lawyer, who served as federal prosecutor.
This is the first time that a Republican won this seat in New Jersey since 1997 when Governor Christie Whitman was re-elected.
Corzine lost the seat with a minimal margin; this is the first time for Corzine to lose any seat after 1993 elections when he lost to Jim Florio.
Last night when Kim Guadagno introduced Chris Christie to the crowed, he took the podium and said, Hey, New Jersey – we did it.”
But before that addressing to the people first Lieutenant Governor-Elect Kim Guadagno said that people are going to see changes and those changes are for good.
She also said that people will witness lower taxes, new job opportunities and several other changes in New Jersey.
We wish Governor and Lieutenant Governor the very best of luck in future.
