Kevin Smith
Kevin Smith was asked to leave the plane just before it was about to take off. Kevin Smith was asked to leave the plane as he was too fat and a ‘safety risk’. Obviously Mr. Smith was angry over this forced departure from the plane, and in his frustration and anger he posted a series of messages on the Twitter. Southwest might have hoped that the news will be lost among other news after some time but a day after the incident the situation has become even more serious and perhaps more popular too.
Kevin Smith is thrown out of the plane and he tweets about it
According to Kevin Smith, he had bought two tickets according to the Southwest Airlines’ ‘customers of size’ policy but boarded onto an earlier flight. In that flight only one seat was left. Kevin Smith put his bag up and the arms rest down. He then seated himself. That is when Mr. Smith was asked to leave the plane. Smith was angry and furious and he didn’t remain silent about it. Smith tweeted multiple messages about the Southwest Airlines and expressed his disdain over being forced to leave the plane when he was already seated in. Southwest Airlines too posted several apology messages through its own Twitter account and even offered Kevin Smith a $100 voucher which he refused to accept by posting another Twitter message: ‘F*** your apologetic $100 voucher, @SouthwestAir’.
Kevin Smith forced to leave the plane – Is it a Discrimination against fat people?
The after math of Kevin Smith incident is probably more intense than the airline would have thought yesterday. The National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance (NAAFA) calls for boycott of Southwest Airline and urged that fat people to choose the airlines for travelling which doesn’t have such discriminatory policies.
But is it really a discriminatory act against fat people? An air travel expert comments on the incident and says that airlines are compelled to make such polices because of the economical reasons. Money is perhaps the reason why airlines are making the seats smaller.
What’s your take on it, dear reader? Do send us your comments, opinions, and suggestions.

Way to go Southwest!!! I hope this scares away the fat$$es from your airline so I can have my elbow room back.
People like Kevin Smith should learn to respect themselves and the people around them.
