Jim Gibbons Denies And Then Admits About Kathy Karrasch
According to the details, Nevada Gov. Jim Gibbons was approached on the Reno airport by a TV reporter. Gibbons originally told the reporter that Kathy Karrasch, the lady to whom he once sent hundreds of messages, didn’t accompany him on his trip to Washington. The reporter says that Gov. Gibbons confronted him during the interview and when he asked about his trips and his companions Gov. Gibbons retorted, ‘What is to you?’ The TV channel reports that Kathy Karrasch was at the airport too and was seen leaving the airport building in a state-owned car.
Gov. Gibbons is weak at making choices; we guessed that after listening to his Tuesday statement which was completely opposite to his first one. Gov. Gibbons released a statement admitting that Kathy Karrasch travelled with him on his trip to Washington but she travelled on her own expenses and the state money wasn’t used to pay her expenses. Gibbons also said that he couldn’t answer the reporter’s question in a right way as he was returning from a tiring trip. He also said that Kathy Karrasch wanted to go with him on the conference and had paid for her expenses himself. Governor also mentioned that Kathy Karrasch was given ride to home on the state-owned car as she lives near his home and he was just being courteous.
Governor Gibbons, who is divorcing his wife Dawn Gibbons, was once in the headlines for using state money for texting hundreds of messages to Kathy Karrasch. His wife filed for divorce in 2008 claiming that Gibbon had extra-marital relationships with Kathy Karrasch and also with a former Playboy model. The allegations were denied by governor himself as well as by Kathy Karrasch, who said that accusations were hurtful to her family.
