Jennifer Nettles
Jennifer Nettles, an American state melody singer, was born on 12th September, 1974 in Douglas, Georgia. She is a Grammy award winner and has been performing melodically since she was a child in her schooling days. She is best known for being the lead singer of the duo Sugarland all along Kristine bush.
She also signed a contract as a duet associate with rock band Bon Jovi’s single released in 2006. The song “Who says you can’t go home“ was ranked number one on the charts of Billboards.
In year 1999 Jennifer Nettles produced a band known as Jennifer Nettles Band. She released two live albums and three studio albums with that band.
The band, which includes Brad Sikes as drummer, Scott Nicholson as pianist, Wesley Lupold as bass and mike Celbulski as percussionist, was elected as the grand prize winner among more than 2000 bands in “The Big Deal $100,000 Music Search” in year 1999.
This year Jennifer Nettles, the 35 years old singing sensation, performed on melodies composed by Bruce Springsteen at Kennedy Centers Honors 2009 on Sunday 6th December. This performance by Jennifer Nettles was a tribute given to Bruce by Jennifer Nettles.
Jennifer Nettles has performed on several other numbers by Bruce like “I’ m On Fire”, My Father’s House” and “Glory Days” that truly reflects her versatility.
With her dynamic singing and poetic style she has become the heartthrob of millions of her fans all across the world. She has sung a huge number of hits and her fans are looking forward for much more from her side and they also believe that she won’t let them down…..!
