The 46-year-old Jack Del Rio has remained a star player at USC but has never coached the team. After Peter Carroll’s departure from USC, rumors were circulating on the internet that USC has been considering Del Rio as Carroll’s replacement. Jack Del Rio has three years left on his contract with Jaguars and if Weaver fires him, Jaguars will have to pay $15 million to him as buyout for his remaining contract.
