Good Girls Go Bad is sung by Cobra Starship, an American Pop Punk band. The guest vocals by Leighton Meester make the song more melodious. The song was created by Kara DioGuard and Kevin Rudolf. The song is written by Gabe Saporta, Kara DioGuardi, Kevin Rudolf and Jacob Kasher.

Good Girls Go Bad was the earliest single released of Cobra Starship from the third studio album, Hot Mess. The song made its debut through radio on 8th May, 2009. Then on 11th Ma, 2009 it was released as digital iTunes. The music video of the song was directed by Kai Regan in New York City on 3rd May, 2009. The official video was first premiered on 29th June, 2009.

Good Girls Go Bad has enjoyed a great success in Canada as well as in USA. It reached at 7th place on the US Billboard Hot 100. After Debuting in Canada on 25th July, 2009 the song got a very high airplay all across the Canada. The video was also nominated as The Best Pop Video on MTV Video Music Awards but was un-able to be the Womanizer by Britney Spears.
