Gloriana
Gloriana, a Nashville band made their way to much longed for success. Gloriana was awarded break through artist on Sunday at American Music Award. Tom and Michael Gossin from New Hartford created Gloriana in 2007. Rachel Reinert and Cheyenne Kimbell are other two members. The four piece band made history last night.
Gloriana is not new in the music arena, the band won, “On Your Side Award in 2009 at CMT Music Awards.
Gloriana beat Lady Gaga in almost all of the categories. The credit of this win goes to not other than Taylor Swift who opened her own tour with Gloriana this summer. Swift is on this tour nationwide. Taylor Swift believed that these people could make it. The people really made it yesterday night.
Gloriana was not expecting this win. They were thinking of Lady Gaga being nominated but to their extreme astonishment, their name was called as award winners.
Gloriana has produced the album in the market just three month before and it brought them a huge success together with winning Taylor Swift’s choice. Although it is debut album by Gloriana, the album really made a stir at the horizon of country music and their, “Wild at Heart,” a single ranked prominently at Billboard, and Top 200. These ranks speak of the hard work and talent.
Gloriana band attributes this success to their loyal and faithful fan-ship who voted for them, and they are proud of the fans that made it possible for them to earn such an honor.
