FOX 8 News Cleveland Ohio has reported that of the spokesperson from American Greetings has disclosed that American Greetings might be looking to move its headquarters from Brooklyn. It could be most probably even out of northeast Ohio.

According to FOX 8 News American Greetings has initiated a study to estimate such a move from Brooklyn. The FOX 8 News has iterated that American Greetings has explored this possibility after the raise in paychecks tax made by Brooklyn. The Brooklyn has increased its tax on paychecks up to 25 percent since last year. The increase in tax is becoming a heavy toll on the employees of American Greetings.

Patrice Sadd, the Manager Corporate Communications for American Greetings while speaking to FOX 8 News has added that his company is seeking locations in Northeast Ohio but they do want to keep their options open.

Sadd in an email sent to FOX 8 News has further iterated that American Greetings has been involved with Greater Cleveland. They have long relationship of many years and we will consider all available options not only the northeast Ohio. He commented that they are in search of one of the best locations for their world headquarters.

American Greeting Headquarter in Brooklyne Ohio has at least two thousand people working for the company at the place. Any move by company to shift its headquarters from Brooklyn will certainly effect not only the working environment but it will also give its employees some relief in their paycheck tax deductions. It seems American economy is also hitting the least prone areas of economic activity.
