Erin Ravenstahl
Luke Ravenstahl who swept the election just three weeks before and won for the second term as mayor of Pittsburgh has formally announced his separation from his wife Erin.
In an apologetic statement Luke Ravenstahl declared that they have tried their best to keep this bond but the things have come to such a point that it is better for their family to be separated and being public personalities they feel it obligatory to share this information with whole of the Pittsburgh.
In an interview with KDKA-TV, the mayor admitted that Erin was not kind of comfortable with his public portfolio. She would prefer it a lot if he were not a public figure. The mayor denied to comment on rumors of infidelity and so on and added that they would like to solve it in a private and personal way. Ravenstahl made it clear that public figures have to face the consequences of being a public figure and he was not eager to run for the position, instead he would like to save his family life.
Erin called it a difficult decision for both of them. She added that she will remain Ravenstahl’s friend and will continue this role of sharing their love with their son Cooper.
Both are committed not to talk about their relationship in future and they have engaged Richard A. Sprague, the attorney, to handle the matter in a very private and immaculate way.
