In “American Idol” season 9 Dallas auditions Erica Rhodes was a prominent face. Erica Rhodes the child star from “Barney & Family” is all grown up now. Erica Rhodes was not only cute as a child star but the 23-year-old was looking hot in a dominatrix outfit. It felt that the new aspiring pop star would do anything to get a golden ticket.

In the “American Idol” Erica Rhodes was introduced as the former “Barney & Family” star, before she appeared in front of the “Idol judges” for her audition. “American Idol” season 9 Dallas auditions guest judge was Neil Patrick Harris, while Randy, Kara and Simon joined him as the regular judges of the reality show.

Erica Rhodes, complete with whip and knee high leather boots wore a dominatrix outfit; she also performed the title song from “Barney & Family” “I Love You”. In her introduction Erica Rhodes announced that she wanted the masses to know that the kid from “Barney & Family” is all grown up.

Erica Rhodes, sang “Free Your Mind” by “En Vogue” other than “Barney & Family’s” “I Love You” song, every once liked her, earning her a golden ticket to Hollywood. But the question is…does Erica Rhodes have what it takes to be an “American Idol”.

I guess we have to wait and see what Erica Rhodes’s future will be!

After “Barney & Family” ended, Erica Rhodes went back to school to complete her graduation. She also appeared on Broadway and in few of the commercials.
