According to the news Phil Harris had a strong stroke on 9th January 2010 and he was taken to Anchorage for treatment and surgery, but the stroke proved to be the deadly one and Phil failed his battle of life and died on Tuesday.

Children of Phil Harris released their statement on the sad demise of Phil Harris. Jake and Josh Harris said that they are in great pain and sorrow about the sad demise of their father. They said he was the man of commitment, he led from the front and he never stepped back. He was not only a great father but a great captain as well.

The TV Channel network released their statement on the death of Phil Harris. They said the channel lost a greatcolleague and great friend Captain Phil Harris. The channel further stated that he was more important for us as a normal person than the person on screen. Phil Harris was one of the most devoted fathers and most sincere friends for those who knew him.
