David Cook in his appearance admitted to the face that it is tough job to do and that he is better off with a guitar than tools.
He confessed to the fact while answering the question about his priceless experience on the show. David Cook said, it was educational to say the least and that it would be better if he sticks to his guitar.
David Cook before conceding to his especial weakness, the American Idol winner said that, it was an honor for him to be a part of such show, since he got the chance to help those who are in need. He also praised the show for doing such good deed.
The show “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” that was aired yesterday on Sunday, featured David Cook as guest star. The 27-year-old rock star traded his guitar with building tools to construct a house for a 12-year-old girl Kori, who is suffering from a congenital blood disease.
David Cook has been a part of several charity programs, on May, 2009 he was one of the participants of “Race for Hope”, an yearly event of 5K.M run to fight against brain tumour in D.C.
He managed to raise $136,376.16 for the cause after finishing the 5KM run in 28 minutes, David Cook’s brother Adam, who was suffering from the same disease died the very next.
