Charlie Wilson, former Congressman of United States of America died in Texas. 76 year old Charlie Wilson had a heart attack on Wednesday, Charlie Wilson was taken to the hospital immediately but he didn’t manage to survive.

Charlie Wilson was known for establishing and financially helping the Mujahidin force from Afghanistan against Soviet Union. Charlie Wilson and General Zia Ul Haq, former President of Pakistan, helped to build the Taliban from Afghanistan for the war purpose against Soviet Union.

Charlie Wilson remained congressman from Democratic Party for Texas, from 1973 to 1996. He also remained the member of House Appropriations Committee of United States, which help to secure money for the war weapons for Mujahidin during their war against Soviet Union. After serving as the US Congress for 12 years, he left politics in 1996 by saying there is no fun remain for him now.

Although the efforts and work done by Charlie Wilson helped America to force Soviet forces out of Afghanistan and turn the tide of the war but he wasn’t able to continue the funds for the Mujahidin.

Charles Wilson states in an interview in 2001, that people like us were unable to fulfill our responsibilities once the war was over. Charles further said, we allowed a vacuum to be created in Pakistan and Afghanistan and we made thousands of people to get angry and we are fully responsible for the act.

Taliban is the product of America produced by Charlie Wilson and Zia Ul Haq but now the Taliban are the worst enemies of America now days and it has been believed that Taliban are playing major role in destabilizing the peace around the world.
