Bushmaster Pit Viper

Bushmaster Pit Viper is the largest pit viper around the world and is also known by its scientific name of Lachesis Muta Muta.

This is a horrifying, giant and extremely venomous snake having a malicious reputation as a cruel and vindictive dude.

This noxious creature is found in the thick forests of South America. Bushmasters live in secluded and isolated surroundings and like to be cut off in their jungle environment. It has a triangular shaped head on a giant, chunky body and grows to almost to 2.5 to 3 m length.

Another specific characteristic of this pit viper is that it is the only neo-tropical snake that lays eggs. The hatchlings are almost 30 cm in length and are found in much attractive color combinations.

Being a most dangerous snake in the world, the Bushmaster is capable of various bite strikes at a time. It can inject a large amount of venom but the single bite of an infantile Bushmaster can prove deadly.
