Buju Banton Arrest

Buju Banton, famous American reggae singer has been accused for drugs possessions and arrested in Florida on Thursday. He is kept under the custody of US Federal in Miami Jail. He is charged for buying at least 20 kg cocaine from a drug agent.

This drug charge case related to Tampa and Banton is planned to be shifted soon from Miami to Tampa where legal action will be taken against the crime.  The first hearing for the bail of singer is going to take place on December 15 in federal court of Miami.

 

Buju Banton, with his original name Mark Anthony Myrie, is a familiar and renowned Jamaican reggae musician.  His most recent album, Rasta Got Soul, has been nominated for Grammy awards. He has an anti-gay attitude and his Grammy nomination is opposed strictly by the Gay & Lesbian Alliance. He is one of those 8 imaginative and creative artists who has become the victim of invariable criticism from the gay society in Europe, America and Jamaica.
