Engagement is a beautiful excuse for marriage and someone said engagement is a mood. What else can it be; it is the loveliest season of life; especially with the bonds of love and friendship. Famous stage actor Ben Walker got engaged to Mamie Gummer, daughter of well-known sculptor Don Gummer and Academy Award Winning actress Meryl Streep.

Mamie with the original name Mary Willa and Ben Walker met first time in April 2008 while performing in Dangerous Liaisons, a theatrical on Broadway. The couple started dating with an excessive friendship that transformed into a loving relationship. Mamie says she likes Ben for his kindness, patience, and friendliness. She said Ben is very caring and loving towards her.

The family is rapturous and ecstatic for this relationship between the two. Mamie is the second one out of four children. Ben Walker proposed her in the traditional way–on one knee, last Sunday night. The engagement ring is unassertive and modest, with an old-fashioned style that was somewhat oversize–the impeccable ring for this couple, subtle with a clue of showy.

The couple is very happy with the engagement and both are in love. Ben said that he purposed Mamie after one and half year’s recognition. Both are quite relax and comfortable with each other and hope to live a happy life.

According to both Ben and Mamie, they don’t have any plan for marriage yet.

Congratulations to this happy and exultant couple, and one of Hollywood’s Imperial and Royal Families.
