Annual Fashion Award

The British Fashion Council gives away its Annual Fashion Awards. The Christmas night ceremony of Annual Award fashion snatched more headlines than expected as Karen Elson tumbled down the orchestra pit and disappeared from the eyes of the audience.

British Fashion Awards has established its place in the fashion industry of United Kingdom for almost 20 years. The council acknowledges the efforts of the British designers, models and creative who stamp a mark on fashion world.

The Royal Court of Justice hosted these glamorous awards first time. The ceremony includes drinks at reception, dinner and actual ceremony of award giving.

As Christopher Bailey “CCO” Chief Creative Officer of Burberry is named Designer of the year, Burberry snatches the Designer Brand Award this year.

The rest goes in this way as they are acknowledged by the British Fashion Council;

Emerging Talent Award for Accessories Swarovski – Holly Fulton

• Emerging Talent Award for Ready-to-Wear Swarovski Peter Piloto
• Model- Georgia Jagger
• Accessory Designer- Katie Hillier
• BFC Outstanding Achievement in Fashion Design- John Galliano
• London 25- Kate Moss
• Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator- Grace Coddington
• BFC British Collection of the Year- Christopher Kane

But as important as was the fall of Karen Elson who reappeared on the stage after a few minutes and declared that she is the clumsiest woman on earth and that she did not believe in what was happened she was the center of it. Karen further added that it was the worst of all her falls (really) and she would have broken her few limbs but she is fine.
