Amano Chocolate or Amano Artisan Chocolate is known to American Citizens as one of the most excellent and exceptional dark chocolate of all times. For decades American Chocolate has been standardized with production of large quantities, hapless in quality and second-rated in taste, but he perception started to change in the last decade, when several American companies started to produce small-batches of Artisan Chocolate and Amano Chocolate is the newest of entries in the field.

Amano Chocolate is the only company around America out of a dozen chocolate manufacturers, who make chocolate directly from bean to bar that means they source the chocolate beans themselves and do all the processing within the company to produce fine dark chocolates.

The CEO of Amano Chocolate wrote on his website that his company creates the Dark Chocolate without the use of word “COMPROMISE” and for a fanatic of Dark Chocolate like me Amano Chocolate’s are the treat from Heaven.

Amano Chocolate Company has won a number

of awards for being the Best American Chocolate in the year 2009, 2008 and 2007.

Amano Chocolate Company has won the L.A Luxury Chocolate Salon Award 2009, for producing the Best Dark, Milk and Top Artisan Chocolate. They have also won the Seattle Luxury Chocolate Salon Award in 2009 for producing the best Dark, Milk Chocolate and Bars.

The Amano Dark Chocolate came in two verities “Grand Cru Dark Chocolate” and “Madagascar Premium Dark Chocolate” and a dark chocolate fanatic like me it is not less then Heaven to sit in my computer chair and enjoy an excellent Amano Chocolate bar.
