Abel Maldonado to fill the vacant seat of California’s lieutenant governor. Arnold Schwarzenegger, the governor of California has appointed Sen. Abel Maldonado lieutenant governor, he announced the nomination yesterday on Jay Leno Show.
Son of immigrant sharecrop farmer, Sen. Abel Maldonado 42-year-old is not only a moderate Republican but owns 600 acres of farm too. It has been asserted that to take office Abel Maldonado has to win a majority vote not only in Assembly but in Senate as well.
According to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Abel Maldonado certainly has courage, strength and decision power to make the development in California. He also said that he is the most eligible and qualified person for the seat of lieutenant governor.
Mr. Schwarzenegger said that he is a loyal and wonderful man who can take the responsibility of public service and can handle the significant issues of California.
