ABB Shooting

ABB shooting refers to the firing by Timothy Hendron, that resulted in three casualties at ABB power plant. After shooting Hendron killed himself bringing the total deaths, at the scene to four.

The background of the ABB shooting has links to the lawsuit that Hendron had filed against the company. The lawsuit was about the former employees of ABB being treated unfairly about the matters relating to the pension benefits.

The whole incident attains special importance for the fact that shooter had served at ABB for 23 years. The whole incident is just another bitter reminder about the worse economic conditions. Employees like Hendron who have served the companies for 23 years, increasingly are becoming victim to the impression that they are not being treated fairly.

Among all the claims that economic conditions are becoming better and all the indicators released by fed, it is written on the wall that the common man is still mired in the mud of worst economic crack down.
